Fedicia Exine (Cloud in the Shape of Klaus Schulze)
Paul and I were kindly asked by the Front & Follow label to produce a remix for Fedicia Exine by Doomed Bird of Providence.
Instead of just remixing we performed a live reworking with no overdubs or edits- myself on samples and Paul on analogue electronics.
Several nights were spent isolating loops, finding tones and textures and letting ropey wine and lack of sleep work its wonders.
One final and strangely calm night saw everything fall into place. One live performance. We were happy as the spirit of the original still shines through.
